Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s address to House of Representatives has been called at the last minute for unknown reasons. According to parliamentary tradition, the Prime Minister addresses the House on the last day of the current session.
However, vice-chair of the Parliamentary Party Subas Chandra Nembang informed that the PM was not scheduled to speak in Parliament on Thursday.
“Now, the Prime minister will address the whole country on Friday,” he said.
Nembang further added that PM Oli will be addressing both the parliament and the nation tomorrow through a program organised to mark Constitution Day.
The fourth session of parliament, which started on April 29, has ended.
