Kathmandu, April 2
A two-day photograph exhibition titled “Langtang through the Lens of Field Researchers” began on April 1 at Central Library, Tribhuvan University, Kritipur.
Central Department of Library and Information Science, TU; Tribhuvan University Central Library and Central Department of Zoology, TU jointly organised the photo exhibition to celebrate more than two decades of research, training and outreach programmes. It is supported by OEI, USA.
In the exhibition, the photographs of the lifestyle, people and landscape of Langtang are displayed, taken by Prof Dr Randall C Kyes, University of Washington, USA; Dr Narayan Prasad Koju, Nepal Engineering College, PU, Nepal; and Bal Krishna Banmala, artist and photographer, Nepal.
Moreover, the photographs can be used as an important source of information and can be taken as data for future research.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Rector Prof Bhargab Dhital.
