Siraha, September 11
One person was injured in a brawl that broke out during a mutual dispute at Hulak Road in Lahan Municipality-4, Siraha.
According to the District Police Office, Siraha, the injured person has been identified as 17-year-old Ayush Kumar Mandal of Inarwa, Bhagwanpur Rural Municipality-5.
Police have taken into custody two people accused of involvement in the incident: 19-year-old Raju Yadav of Bhagwanpur Rural Municipality-2 and 20-year-old Balram Yadav of Ward No. 1.
SP Basudev Pathak of the District Police Office, Siraha, said both individuals have been kept at the Ilaka Police Office, Lahan, for further investigation.
According to SP Pathak, Ayush sustained injuries to various parts of his body in the beating and is undergoing treatment at Provincial Hospital, Lahan, Siraha. Investigation is underway into why the beating occurred.
