Oli, Shekhar Koirala discuss contemporary political issues

Kathmandu, February 27

A chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, on Thursday held a meeting with an influential leader of the main opposition Nepali Congress party, Shekhar Koirala.

Sources say the two leaders discuss contemporary political issues. Oli’s meeting with a second-rung leader of the opposition side, while he has lost the majority support inside his party, is likely to create different speculations.

The meeting held at the prime minister’s residence in Baluwatar lasted for around one and a half hours, it has been learned.
