The overpass constructed in Gwarko, Lalitpur, is being inaugurated today. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will inaugurate the overpass.
According to the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, the overpass will be opened for vehicular movement after the inauguration by Prime Minister Oli on Friday.
The contract for this project was awarded on February 24, 2022, and it has taken more than four years to complete.

According to the Department of Roads, the overpass is now ready for operation after completing additional works such as installing lane separators and road markings following the construction of the main structure.
The Gwarko overpass includes a four-lane bridge with a 20-meter span. In addition, a 500-meter-long approach road has been built, with ramps connecting from Balkumari and Satdobato.
The overpass at Gwarko Chowk has been constructed in such a way that vehicles heading from Mangalbazar to Imadol can pass smoothly underneath it.
