Kathmandu, August 26
Floodwater has entered the Nuwakot prison, rising up to the first floor. Prison administration says all inmates have been kept safe following the sudden flood in. The water level is currently receding.
On Wednesday morning a major flood has struck the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa.
Follwing the situation, traffic police have halted, within Kathmandu itself, vehicles headed toward four districts. Similarly, two Nepal Army helicopters have flown to Rasuwa for the rescue.
