Kathmandu, June 12
Nepal Rastra Bank has directed banking institutions across the country to stay open tomorrow even though it is Saturday.
According to the central bank’s Banks and Financial Institutions Regulation Department Chief Dev Kumar Dhakal, the directive was issued to ease the revenue collection process that has been halted of the lockdown implemented to curb the coronavirus infection.
The directive applies to banks of A, B and C grades banks as well as cooperatives along with Nepal Clearing House for the purpose of revenue collection.
