Netra Bikram Chand’s son Prakash has been arrested in Chitwan for allegedly fanning protests at his alma mater Chitwan Medical College.
According to DSP Shaligram Sharma, Chand was arrested as he helped Chitwan Medical College students stage protests.
He is being kept at District Police Office, Chitwan along with some other students. DSP Sharma said they were arrested because they were obstructing hospital proceedings by taking their protest inside the hospital.
