NEPSE: All stock market indicators increased, turnover exceeded Rs 4 billion

Kathmandu, May 14

On Tuesday, all the indices of the stock market increased. The NEPSE index increased by 28.62 points (1.43 per cent) compared to the previous day. After the increase of that number, NEPSE has reached 2027 points. While the price of 22 companies decreased, 219 increased while 3 remained stable.

A total of Rs 4.8 billion was traded. It was Rs 3.40 billion the previous day. The indicators of all sectors have increased. The hydropower and microfinance groups grew more than 3 per cent.

Based on points, Banking increased by 2, Development Bank by 59, Finance by 6, Hotel and Tourism by 48, Hydropower by 76, Life Insurance by 141, Manufacturing by 16, Microfinance by 146, Non-Life Insurance by 190, Others by 17 and Business Group increased by 0.84 points.

The price of six companies has increased by 10 per cent. The prices of Samaj Lagubitta, Upkar, Unique Nepal, Jan Utthan Community, Manusi Lagubitta and Ruru Hydropower increased by 10 per cent.
