Nepali singer’s English song on Covid-19 aims at awareness

Kathmandu, May 2

Shital Moktan has released her new song titled Don’t Take Me on Saturday. Written by Bijaya Deep Giri, the song tries to spread a message about how being careless during the pandemic can tear families apart.

The music has been composed by Saroj Pyakurel while the arrangement was done by Manohar Sunam.

The video which shows two young children played by Vidushi Shah and Alvin Jung Giri was directed by Giri while Chakra B Baral was its cinematographer.

Giri, speaking prior to the release, said that he hoped that the song could spread a message about being careful during the pandemic, adding it could provide consolation to everyone who lost a loved one during the devastating pandemic.

The song was released by Tulsi Music Creation on its YouTube channel.
