Nepali Congress to train lawmakers

Kathmandu, May 5

The main opposition party Nepali Congress on Sunday has decided to launch a dialogue and training programme for its members of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly.

A meeting of the party’s Central Policy, Research and Training Academy made the decision today.

Meanwhile, the meeting chaired by the party’s Vice President Bimalendra Nidhi, who heads the Academy, decided to make the party’s nationwide awareness campaign successful. The campaign is beginning this Wednesday.

According to another decision of the Academy, the party will also organise gatherings and seminars at federal, provincial, district, constituency, local and ward levels.

The meeting also decided to train people wishing to renew their party membership.
