The main opposition party Nepali Congress postponed its Central Working Committee meeting scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.

The party says the meeting will not take place on Sunday. Party spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma informs that the meeting was postponed to give more time to the top leaders to study a draft of the guidelines on the party’s interim structures.

He adds that the document will be tabled at the CWC meeting after rounds of discussions at the top level.

The party’s central office chief secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel says invitee CWC members will also participate in the Sunday meeting.
