Nepali Congress whip Pushpa Bhusal

Kathmandu, July 1

The main opposition party Nepali congress has has objected to a statement of Minister for Law Sher Bahadur Tamang that the Congress party should also joint the government.

Speaking at the House of Representatives meeting on Sunday, Congress whip Pushpa Bhusal said that Tamang’s statement was against the parliamentary dignity.

Tamang had said that the main opposition was seeking their share in the incumbent government, satirically calling the party to join the government.

Bhusal, however, said that the Nepal Congress are willing to play their role as the main opposition than being a part of the government.

“Will you not need the support of Nepali Congress to approve the 35 laws required to implement the constitution,” questioned the Whip.
