Kathmandu, August 26
President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has administered oath of office and secrecy to 13 Nepali Congress leaders nominated as ministers in the Pushpa Kamal Dahal Cabinet.
The ministers were sworn in amid a function organised at the President’s Office in Shital Niwas.
Nepali Congress now has 15 ministers in the Cabinet. Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi and Transport Minister Ramesh Lekhak were sworn in along with Prime Minister Dahal.
The new ministers are: Arjun Narsingh KC, Sitadevi Yadav, Prakash Sharan Mahat. Balkrishna Khand, Suryaman Gurung, Shanker Bhandari, Nabindra Raj Joshi, Gagan Thapa, Keshab Kumar Budhathoki, Dipak Giri, Romi Gauchan and Hridayaram Thani.
