Kathmandu, October 29
The main opposition party, Nepali Congress, has called its central working committee meeting for November 6.
The party’s central office chief secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel says the meeting shall take place at the central office in Sanepa of Lalitpur. The meeting is expected to officially announce the postponement of the party’s 14th national general convention scheduled to be held in February next year.
The meeting was called for early October. However, it was postponed indefinitely after some CWC members contracted Covid-19 around the same time.
