Nepal Vs Kenya: Home side get 156 run target

Kathmandu, March 13

Kenya have posted a 156 run target for Nepal in the second of the two-match World Cricket League championship series being played in Kirtipur.

Winning the toss, Nepal put the African side to bat on a sunny day in Kathmandu. Nepal’s Mahaboob Alam, who shared the new ball with Sompal Kami, bowled one of the most economical overs by a Nepali bowler in recent times and took two crucial wickets early.

Leggie Sandeep Lamichhane got dangerman Collins Obuya out stumped when he was on 48. Captain Rakep Patel was out caught of Basant Regmi. Sarad Vesawker came to bowl late in the innings and achieved his List A best of 4/28 in 7.1 overs.
