Nepal to play in Pickleball World Cup

Nepal is set to play in the third edition of the Pickleball World Cup. The Nepali team, competing in the World Cup for the first time, will depart for Da Nang, Vietnam, on Thursday.

For the tournament, running from August 30 to September 6, the senior category will feature Harsha Sagar Tuladhar, Manika Ratna Shakya, Dil Bhushan Pathak, Fatte Bahadur Khadka, Sharmila K.C., and Pratima Pradhan.

In the open category, the participants will be Jackson Subedi, Sandesh Shrestha, Umid Sherpa, Ugen Sherpa, Dawa Sherpa, Radheshyam Machamasi, Mahesh Sharma, Sarusa Magar, Dr. Diksha Rana, Sanjeel Kansakar, and Kiran Khanal.

Saurav Bhandari will serve as manager and coach. National Sports Council Member-Secretary Ramcharitra Mehta bid farewell to the team at an event on Tuesday, wishing them success.
