Nepal to face Oman in crucial ICC World Cup League-2 match today

Nepal is set to face Oman today in the ICC World Cup League-2. The match will begin at 8:45 pm Nepali time at the Maple Leaf North West Cricket Ground in King City, Canada. Nepal is under pressure to win after losing their first match against Canada by 103 runs. For Oman, this will be their first game in the series.

Nepal and Oman have played 7 ODI matches against each other, with Nepal winning 3 and losing 4. The two teams first competed in 2020 at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground during the ICC World Cup League-2, where Nepal lost both games by 18 runs and 8 wickets, respectively.

In 2021, Nepal played Oman again in League-2 in Al Amarat, losing the first match by 5 wickets but winning the second by 7 wickets. In June 2022, Nepal faced Oman in League-2 in the USA, losing the first match by 13 runs but securing a 7-wicket win in the second.

Most recently, in the 2023 ACC Premier Cup, Nepal defeated Oman by 84 runs at the Tribhuvan University Ground.
