Kathmandu, November 4
Nepal’s President Bidhya Devi Bhandari will visit India soon, foreign minister Ram Sharan Mahat says.
Mahat’s statement comes as India’s Head of State Pranab Mukherjee wraps up his three-day visit to the northern neighbour, on Friday. Nepal’s government has also concluded that the visit has helped invigorate bilateral relations.
Nepal has also begun its preparation for Bhandari’s visit to India, Minister Mahat said following a meeting of the Cabinet.
Meanwhile, Minister Ram Karki, who is also the government’s spokesperson, said the visit sends a message to the international community that Nepal is capable of providing security to hi-profile visitors.
