Nepal to host international investment conference in March

Nepal’s government will host an international investment conference to send a message to foreign investors that the country is safe, in the first week of March.

Minister for Industry Nabindra Raj Joshi, who is also the chairman at the conference directive committee, said the two-day conference (March 2-3) is aimed at reassuring foreign investors that they can safely invest in Nepal.

During the conference, which is to be attended by over 300 delegates, political leaders will address investors and tell them that they are committed to safeguarding foreign investors’ money.

Investment in key areas such as energy, tourism, finance, mining and agriculture will be discussed during the event.
