The Ministry of Health and Population says the country’s Covid-19 tally has hit 1,798 as of 4:20 pm on Monday.
The ministry’s spokesperson Bikas Devkota said the country added 226 cases to the number of cases since the last update on Sunday afternoon. This is the first time that more than 200 cases have been confirmed in 24 hours in the country.
Of them, eight have died and 221 have achieved recovery, according to him.
The infection has spread across 59 countries of the country.
