Nepal Covid-19 tally: 830 new cases, 1,500 recoveries, 9 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, December 13

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 248,423 as of Sunday afternoon.

The ministry says 830 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 5,181 swab samples were tested. So far, 1 million and 831,041 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 10,994 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 235,731 people have achieved recovery whereas 1,698 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 1,500 people have been discharged whereas 15 deaths have been reported. 

Over 500 people are quarantined across the country.
