Kathmandu, December 28
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 258,840 as of Monday afternoon.
The ministry says 659 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 5,578 swab samples were tested. So far, 1 million and 915,232 909,654 people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 6,427 cases are active currently.
Of the total cases so far, 250,581 people have achieved recovery whereas 1,832 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 718 people have been discharged whereas seven deaths have been reported.
Over 350 people are quarantined across the country.
