Kathmandu, December 24
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 256,592 as of Thursday afternoon.
The ministry says 613 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 5,510 swab samples were tested. So far, 1 million 890,740 and people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 7,384 cases are active.
Of the total cases so far, 247,400 people have achieved recovery whereas 1,808 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 749 people have been discharged whereas five deaths have been reported.
Over 400 people are quarantined across the country.
