Kathmandu, December 27
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 258,181 as of Sunday afternoon.
The ministry says 481 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 3,828 swab samples were tested. So far, 1 million and 909,654 people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 6,493 cases are active currently.
Of the total cases so far, 249,863 people have achieved recovery whereas 1,825 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 731 people have been discharged whereas six deaths have been reported.
Over 350 people are quarantined across the country.
