Nepal Covid-19 tally: 1,044 new cases, 1,271 recoveries, 11 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, December 11

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 246,694 as of Friday afternoon.

The ministry says 1,044 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 7,414 swab samples were tested. So far, 1 million and 820,618 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 12,148 cases are active. The recovery rate on Friday was 94.40 percent.

According to the ministry, there are 7,341 people in home isolations, 310 in ICUs and 50 in ventilators.

Of the total cases so far, 232,872 people recovered whereas 1,674 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 1,271 people have been discharged whereas 11 deaths have been reported.

Over 500 people are quarantined across the country.
