Nepal condemns Sri Lanka blasts

Kathmandu, April 21

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has condemned the series of bomb blasts in Colombo on Sunday, which have killed more than 160 people.

In a letter to his Sri Lankan counterpart, Prime Minister Oli said he was deeply shocked to hear the sad news of the deadly attacks. “The Government of Nepal strongly condemns such acts against humanity. I firmly believe that the perpetrators behind these criminal acts will be brought to justice at the earliest. In line with the principled position, Nepal unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” said the Prime Minister.

PM Oli also said that the government and the people of Nepal stand by the friendly people of Sri Lanka.
