Kathmandu, March 11
The Nepal Army has celebrated Nepal Army day with fanfare on Thursday. A special function was organised at the army pavilion, Tundikhel of Kathmandu.
During the function, the personnel showcased various military skills.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana, and Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota among other government officials had attended the event.
On the occasion, soldiers showcased various military skills following the tradition.
The national military organisation, since 1991, has been celebrating the Hindu festival of Mahashivaratri as its establishment day every year.
