Kathmandu, November 18

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, also a chairman of the Nepal Communist Party, says he will present his separate political document in the party’s next secretariat meeting after 10 days.

Apparently, Oli in his paper will respond to allegations made by another chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal in his political proposal in the meeting last week.

During a brief secretariat meeting on Wednesday afternoon, Oli said he would present his own report about the party’s internal affairs in the next meeting. Considering his proposal, the meeting will now take place on November 28, according to the party’s spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha.

Then, the secretariat will discuss both the reports together.

Meanwhile, today’s meeting also decided to hold standing committee and central committee meetings on December 3 and December 10 respectively.

With the decisions of the meeting today, the ongoing dispute in the ruling party, and consequent fears about its split have lingered further.
