The National Human Rights Commission says it will investigate the alleged death of a CPN (Biplav) leader in an encounter on Thursday.
The party’s Sarlahi in-charge Kumar Paudel, was killed during an encounter with police in Sarlahi-1 on Thursday. Security personnel have been cracking down on leaders and sympathisers of the party after the government decided to ban its activities following a spate of bomb attacks in different parts of the country.
