Kathmandu, September 27
Landslides have struck 10 different locations along the Nagdhunga-Muglin road section. According to the Nagdhunga-Muglin Road Project, these landslides occurred by 10 am on Sunday.
The road is blocked in both directions at Krishnabhir, Jyamireghat Chowkibhir, Ghoptebhir, and Simaldhara due to landslides. Landslides have also struck Shilatbazar, Gomati Khola, Hugdi Khola through Jawang Khola, Fisling, Chumlingtar, and Dharapani, leaving the road passable in only one direction at these locations.
The project said equipment would be mobilised to clear the blocked sections once the rain stops. It has requested road users to avoid travelling on this route as much as possible, since the section is expected to remain fully blocked today.
