Chitwan, April 3
Two people were buried to death following a landslide near Ghumaune, Chitwan on the under-construction Mugling-Narayangadh section of the East-west Highway on Sunday morning.
According to local police, debris from the landslide covered a tractor, jeep, truck and two motorcycles plying the section. At least 10 people were on the vehicles when the incident took place.
Police have rescued the passengers. It is unlikely that the road will open today.
