Kathmandu, April 14
Law Minister Ajay Shanker Nayak says the Madheshi Morcha is abusing the awakening in Madhesh about political and economic rights of the people.
Nayak, who was speaking to Onlinekhabar, said the Morcha had informally agreed to back the government’s recent proposal to amend the constitution and that was the reason the government registered it in Parliament.
Nayak accused the Madheshi parties of thinking only about their position and power and ignoring the plight of the country. He said that the Madheshi Morcha, which was born after the Maoist conflict, was cashing in on the issues that were left unresolved by the Maoists.
