Kathmandu, August 12
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda”s party CPN-Maoist Centre will not organise its general convention in January, leaders have decided.
Party leaders had earlier agreed to organise the convention on January 3. However, party leaders have come to a conclusion that January would be too early as Chairman Prachanda would be too busy running the government.
A meeting of the party HQ on Friday discussed the possibility of organising the convention in May/June next year.
