A young man died on Sunday morning while standing in a queue to buy a ticket for Out Patient Department (OPD) at Bakulahar Ratnanagar Hospital in East Chitwan.
Thirty-four-year-old, Jivanbabu Thapamagar of Ratnanagar Municipality-3 Laurighol, who was standing in the queue to buy a ticket for a heart check-up, suddenly collapsed while standing in the queue.
After that, the medical superintendent of the hospital took him immediately to the hospital’s emergency room and he died during the treatment. According to Dr Madan Gyawali, he had a kind of cardiac arrest.
Thapa reached the hospital at 10 am for treatment. However, since the hospital opened after public holidays for two consecutive days, the queue of people to buy tickets was long.
