Oscar Events Nepal is organising Tribute to Linkin Park under the tagline, “Celebrating the Legacy of Chester Bennington,” across three cities.
The event will feature Nemophilis, an India-based band known as one of Asia’s biggest Linkin Park tribute acts.
The first performance will take place on September 4 at Rolling Stones Rock Bar in Pokhara, followed by a show on September 5 at The Concept in Butwal. The final performance will be held on September 6 at Club XO in Kathmandu.
“One of the main purposes behind organising this event is to keep the entertainment scene alive,” says Subodh Dahal, founder of Oscar Events Nepal. “Similarly, it is also an effort to ensure that people do not forget the legacy of Chester Bennington.”
He adds that the event is also an effort to bring music lovers together. With Linkin Park enjoying a huge fan base in Nepal, the show will provide fans with an opportunity to come together, relive the band’s music and celebrate Bennington’s legacy.
Since its inception in 2012, Oscar Events Nepal has organised tribute shows dedicated to Pink Floyd, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Michael Jackson, Pantera, Lamb of God, Chris Cornell, Tool and Coldplay, among others.
