Jumla, July 7
An 18-year-old boy died after being hit by a lightning strike in Jumla on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Prem Budha, a resident of Tila rural municipality-9 of the Jumla district, according to Inspector Bhuwan Bhatta, the information officer of the District Police Office.
He was on his farm, around two km away from his house, when a lightning strike hit him, Bhatta informs. Budha was sitting under a tree to save himself from the rain, according to police.
