The objective of the seminar was to provide information on the present scenario and the future prospects of vocational education in Nepal along with highlighting its importance in building skilled human resources.
The speakers also provided information about the skills needed by Nepali youth in today’s day and age as they pressed for the use of vocational education in Nepal’s education system.
The seminar saw representatives from all the registered training sites across Nepal and Bangladesh who provide vocational training under LCCI GQ’s curriculum along with representatives from various foreign universities who provide opportunities for credit transfer to the students completing vocational courses under the curriculum.
The seminar was conducted in two sessions and was attended by Lalitpur Mayor Chiri Babu Maharjan and the British ambassador to Nepal, Rob Fenn.
