The families of Nepali killed in the Kabul Attack  in June have demanded that the government talk to the Canadian government to get them compensation.

Talking to the press on Monday, Amrit Roka, one of the Nepali injured in the attack said, “We were wounded while working for the Canadian government. Some of our friends passed away. But the government has not taken any initiative to get us compensation from the Canadian government.”

They said that the British contractor they working for also paid them $30,000 in compensation. They only paid medical expenses for three months, said Roka. He added that the British company was supposed to pay $3000,000 each as compensation for the deaths.

Ganga Subedi, whose husband Bidur was among the killed, said the government has not taken their cause seriously. “We have been going around asking for the money for the last three months, but in vain,” she said.
