Kailali, October 25
A man has allegedly killed his own mother during a domestic quarrel in Punarbas municipality of Kanchanpur district on Saturday night.
The 30-year-old Pabbu Badi fatally attacked Parvati (60) with an axe, informs the District Police Office. Seriously injured in the incident, the woman was brought to Seti Provincial Hospital in Kailali, where she died during treatment, according to the DPO spokepserson DSP Amar Bahadur Thapa.
Thapa says further investigation is underway. The accused has been arrested.
