The Shram Sanskriti Party, led by Dharan Mayor Harka Sampang, has received official recognition from the Election Commission. According to central committee member Gopal Bahadur Khadka, party representatives will visit the commission at 2 pm today to collect the certificate of registration.
The Shram Sanskriti Party has chosen “soil” as its election symbol.
Harka Sampang serves as the party’s chairperson. The party has 28 central members and five office bearers: Devraj Lama as vice-chairperson, Aryan Rai as general secretary, Samita Rai as treasurer, and Arun Gurung as spokesperson.
Sampang himself had submitted the application for party registration to the Election Commission on October 28. Khadka confirmed that Sampang will also be present today to collect the certificate of registration.
