Kathmandu, January 5
A man who allegedly hacked into the system of Kathmandu-based Agriculture Development Bank has been arrested.
Deepak Nepal collaborated with a Nigerian and an Indian national to withdraw Rs 15.6 million from the bank and helped them siphon the money abroad, said police. Nepal is a resident of Rangeli Municipality-2.
A total of Rs 15.6 million was been stolen from a branch of Agricultural Development Bank Limited in Lahan of Siraha district in September last year.
