Govt declares 2,674 more martyrs

The government has declared an additional 2,674 martyrs. According to the decision announced by the government, the list of these additional martyrs has been published in the National Gazette.

During the Council of Ministers meeting on January 9, a decision was made to declare 2,674 individuals as martyrs. These individuals had sacrificed their lives during various movements, armed struggles, and revolutions but had not been previously declared martyrs.

The Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers decided to revise the details of 1,012 martyrs previously declared on different dates. Additionally, they decided to amend the details of 152 other martyrs declared on various dates.

Furthermore, they also decided to publish the details of three individuals who sacrificed their lives during movements, armed struggles, and revolutions but had not yet been declared as martyrs.
