Kathmandu, April 17
The government has decided to cancel the public holiday on Friday, the day President Bhandari is to return from her four-day-long state visit to India.
According to a Home Ministry source, the government decided to backtrack following criticism from the public.
Monday was also a public holiday to mark the President’s departure to India.
