Kathmandu, May 30
The government is going to provide free visa to foreign students coming to study in Nepal. This proposal has been made in the budget for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS presented by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel in the federal parliament on Thursday.
This is the first time that visa-free arrangements are being facilitated for foreign students coming to study in Nepal. This is expected to encourage foreign students coming to study in Nepal.
The government has adopted a policy to attract foreign students to different universities in the country.
