Flights to Kathmandu affected due to rain

Kathmandu, September 17

Flights coming to Kathmandu from various national and international airports have been affected due to incessant rain in the valley

Tribhuvan International Airport’s General Manager Raj Kumar Chettri said that due to low visibility, both domestic and international flight have failed to land at TIA in the afternoon. However, planes are still taking off, informed Chettri.

Chettri said that planes coming from Delhi are running circles around Kathmandu whereas domestic flights have been put on hold at their respective airports.

According to airlines companies, almost all domestic flights have either been cancelled or are on the verge of being cancelled.
