Kathmandu, May 31
Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel will provide clarification to Nepali Congress on the alleged leak of information related to budget. NC had halted the house debate yesterday over the same.
A special committee would be formed if FinMin’s clarification is not accepted by NC, a meeting at PM’s residence at Baluwatar of the ruling alliance on Tuesday morning concluded.
Citing the leak of sensitive information related to budget prior to its announcement, NC had halted the parliamentary session four times yesterday. NC has warned to halt the session even today if an investigative committee is not formed immediately.
