Kathmandu, August 26
Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle is coordinating with the Rasuwa Customs Office and its subordinate agencies for search and rescue operations following severe flooding in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa.
A massive flood occurred around Timure and Syafrubesi in Rasuwa a few hours ago following heavy rainfall.
The Ministry of Finance said Minister Wagle, along with ministry secretary Dr Ghanshyam Upadhyay, Director General of the Department of Customs Yamalal Bhusal and senior officials of the ministry’s administration, are coordinating with the Customs Office and its subordinate agencies on search, rescue and other necessary response efforts.
