Ex-MP Sah attacked, 3 arrested in Sarlahi

Kathmandu, April 15

Pramod Sah, former MP of the People’s Socialist Party, Nepal, was attacked in Sarlahi. He was attacked on Sunday night in Haripur Municipality-6 of Sarlahi.

SP Rabindra Bahadur Singh of District Police Office Sarlahi said that ex-MP Sah was injured in the head due to the attack. The police said that he was attacked when he was returning home after watering the crop around midnight.
In the beginning, former MP Sah’s worker Rajendra Mahato was attacked. Later, former MP Shah was also attacked, police said.

Rabi Paswan and Nikesh Shah were also injured in the attack. Sah, who was injured in the attack, was initially treated at Amrit Healthcare in Haripur. SP Singh said that Shah is preparing to come to Kathmandu for further treatment and his condition is out of danger.

The police have arrested three people for their involvement in the assault. Aryan Chaudhary, Siddhant Chaudhary and Saroj Majhi are among those detained.
