Kathmandu, April 11
Nepal’s Election Commission has fixed polling stations in all districts, except for Saptari.
The commission had missed a self-imposed deadline to fix polling stations in Province 2 after the Madheshi Morcha said it will not cooperate.
“Today, we’ve fixed polling stations for Mahottari. Now we need to do so only for Saptari,” Commission spokesperson Suraya Prasad Sharma said.
Sharma said ballot papers for 62 districts have already been printed. Papers for Banke in Province 2 will soon be printed, he added.
The commission had said printing and delivering ballot papers throughout the country was the toughest challenge it faced.
